I'm so grateful to Zeiss and Laura Merians for inviting ICFC to view the new Zeiss Supreme Prime lenses at the ASC in advance of Cinegear 2018.
They had a lovely demo setup outside the clubhouse and showcased a bunch of shorts shot by DPs and directors in attendance to test out the lenses. One of the most universally popular qualities was the elegant focus falloff even at the widest apertures.
Also, thanks to Zeiss for including women directors and a woman DP in their test group (maybe 50/50 next time... ???)
I personally cannot wait for the wide angle additions in 2020. Check out the video below for some beautiful reel images!
